Cinema Paris is located in the heart of the entertainment quarter of Sydney on Bent St, Moore Park. It is close to public transport, and is surrounded by popular Eastern suburbs locations such as Centennial Parklands and well populated residential areas. It is also connected with the Mardi-Gras scene with Oxford Street and Paddington close by.
Paris is also within close distance to popular local & tourist areas such as Coogee, Clovelly, Bronte & Bondi beaches. Within the Entertainment Quarter there is a great variety of restaurants, bars and cafes which are open seven days a week. Paris features a wide variety of films from local, national & international art-house through to quality films of a wider appeal.
Cinema Paris has become the Sydney’s new home for International film festivals, hosting the Sydney Spanish Film Festival in 2001/2002 and the Mexican Film Festival in 2003 playing host to sell out audiences. We have also premiered annual events like the Serbian Film Festival, Indian "Bollywood" Film Festival, the POV film festival and the UNSW Irish Film Festival.
We have four auditoriums with cinemaxx size screens, the latest in digital surround sound technology and super comfort “dreammaxx” seating with increased leg room.
